Precognition is the awareness of events before they occur. Oftentimes the concept carries the implication that the future is decided and fixed, which I don’t believe at all. There are always countless probable avenues that one can take. But I do think that under certain conditions those of us who are sensitive enough can glimpse the culmination of what we’ve set in motion with our own creative power.
And in my opinion this goes back even to a time before physical birth, wherein we may choose a sort of “template” of our life to come and of many of the key experiences and relationships that will help to define it. I believe that my connection with my son is one such “preordained” fact in my own life. One particular experience, which occurred even before his birth, drove this point home for me.
